1. Drought Watch: The Metropolitan Washington area including Montgomery County is under a drought watch. Residents and businesses are asked to take voluntary measures to save water.

2. Takoma Park City Council: At 7:30 p.m., the Takoma Park City Council will have a public meeting in the auditorium at the Takoma Park Community Center. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube, the City Council video webpage, Facebook, or City TV. See the meeting agenda here.
3. Ice Cream Social: From 6:30-8 p.m., Montgomery History will host an annual free ice cream social at Shirley Povich Field. Residents can meet the Montgomery History team and other history lovers. RSVP here.

5. ICYMI: County Executive Marc Elrich and Metro General Manager/CEO Randy Clarke signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the North Bethesda Metro station, as Metro and Montgomery County partner to bring a science-anchored development to 14 acres of land around the station.
